        Are you looking to get out and to enjoy the city this holiday season? Worcester has a bunch of great options for you to take apart of (some of which are only seconds away from your door)! Here is a list of some great holiday festivities for you to enjoy:



        Are you looking to get out and to enjoy the city this holiday season? Worcester has a bunch of great options for you to take apart of (some of which are only seconds away from your door)! Here is a list of some great holiday festivities for you to enjoy:

12/3 – Festival of lights on the common: From 430-9 there will be performances, food trucks, ice-skating and more! Stop at the Brew on the Grid for a hot coffee before heading to the common, they’ll be open until 7pm for the tree lighting!

12/13 – Grid Resident Food Drive! Stop into 50 Franklin from 5-7 and drop off canned goods or non perishable foods for the Worcester County Food Bank

12/1-2/27 – Ice-skating on the common! Enjoy ice-skating and food trucks on the Worcester Common Friday – Sunday. For more information check out worcesterma.gov/Worcester-common-oval/ice-skating

All December long catch a show or two at the Hanover Theatre! With holiday specials like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, A Christmas Carol, The Boston Pops, and many more shows in the line up! You can even go to Mechanics Hall December 12th to enjoy the Nutcracker.

Along with all these amazing events there is plenty of holiday spectacles in the surrounding area, from the Tower Hill Botanical Gardens to the Southwick Zoo you can enjoy outdoor light displays and a sip on hot chocolate while taking in the sights.
